Back at the gas pump the Clone wasn't having much luck; the attendant was getting aggravated and was telling the Clone to move his jeep. The Clone somehow didn't understand that chargin' $10 bucks worth of gas was not as bad as having Mr. Bemis lose his property and Black Belt's death on his hands, not to mention a murder rap laid on him.

That's right, it was the Clone's idea to "get a room," and it was even he who opened the door with the key. Oh sure he could argue there was nothing wrong with that.... that he thought Polly was perfectly safe for the Belt to be alone with....... but no one would believe him! Not to mention that none of them checked up on The Belt for four and a half days despite hearing blood curdling sounds coming from the cabin.

"The guys got a Black Belt for Pete's sake he can take care of himself." he could hear his lawyer arguin' in court. On the other hand he could hear the prosecuter say, "Buddy how long do you think you can convince the members of this jury that Belt stayed on?"

The Clone was indeed in a quandry, when suddenly Alan pulled up to the pumps in his jaguar.

"Hey Mr. Bemis, how you doin'?"

"I'm not Bemis, I'm the Clone."

"That's funny, you look just like him."
