My basic premise in choosing the songs on my jukebox is this: songs are effective in programming the brain and emotional states. If they weren't you can bet your bippy there wouldn't be so many advertising jingles. People wonder why as a nation we're getting fatter every year. I think I heard Tony Robbins say that people who watch televison are invited to eat at least 300 times a day in television commercials. Burger King's "Aren't you hungry? Aren't you Hungry? AREN'T YOU HUNGRY FOR BURGER KING TODAY???" is a pretty good example.
My midi jukebox doesn't contain all the songs I've looked for. If you know where I can get Garth Brook's "Standing Outside the Fire" or "We Shall Be Free" or Carmen's Holdin On" or any other really empowering songs.... let me know. I look forward to adding them.
