Power & Light Quotes 2 / Light Tools / A Treasure Chest of TOOLS for a Happier Life

I am now stepping into the Light!
Time shall not wait for I am ready and I am guided.
I have a magnificent purpose, an important destiny.
Where there is doubt, I am Faith.
Where there is fear, I am love.
Where there is resistance, I am unyielding.
Where there is sadness, I am Joy.
Where there are questions, I am understanding.
Where there is the illusion of loss, I am the gift!
To be my highest and best is for the good of all.
There is a reason
I have always been a determined dreamer,
an uncompromising seeker of truth.
I am part of a perfect plan, a Divine design.
I am a leader, an example of possibility, an inspiration.
I have been given the vision.
I have been given the understanding.
I have been given the tools.
Time shall not wait.
I am now stepping into the Light!

Note: Ed had shared this with me and some others. I wrote to him asking if he knew the author's name and if I could put it on my site. I even asked him if he was the author, but it was so good I was really just being polite. I knew someone famous must have written it. Wrong. Ed had written it. Proof again that there is greatness is in all of us and all we have to do is let it out. :>

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family. Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

SUCCESS
"To laugh often and much,
to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children,
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends,
to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others,
to leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child,
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded!"
Ralph Waldo Emerson
