The rewards of sincere resolve
are highs money can never buy.

This was a great picture before I put any words on it. I like the way you can't tell if it's a man or a woman. Fits all of us that way. I like the way you can see them kinda tilted back and arms out to their sides as if they've been slain by the beauty and immensity of the scene. They earned this incredible healthy high. No amount of money could buy this moment and no drug could duplicate it.
It's New Years 1999 and everyone is making resolutions. Please don't if you're not going to keep it. Every resolution you keep strengthens your resolve and every resolution you break weakens it. Resolve is like any other muscle. It must be exercised regularly or it will stay small and weak.
Last year I resolved to quit smoking and lose weight. I quit smoking and haven't picked one up since. I've also lost fifty pounds. And ooooooooh you don't know the pleasure those two resolutions have given me! Not to mention money. I would have wasted $1,332.00 up in smoke in 1998. Sure feels good to tell you I made the resolutions and met them and look at me now. Feels great actually. It's a high money can't buy. I don't tell you that just to brag, though Lord knows I've been guilty of bragging. I tell you that to remind you of the PLEASURES of resolution.
What resolution can you make right now that you'll absolutely stick with? Find it, make it, keep it and then enjoy the high. There's nothing like it on earth.
