I really must learn to quit freezing up under pressure. What's pressure? A once in a lifetime shot at THE lollie.com New Millennium wallpaper. I understand if that doesn't seem such a big deal to you, but for me, it is very important.
So I turned to my friend Mitch. "Mitch, I've got to have something creative and perhaps a little unexpected for my New Millennium wallpaper. What comes to mind." Mitch sat there and thought for about five minutes. Then he described the wallpaper you see above. 
Isn't he the greatest!
Which inspired another wallpaper that I'll post sometime this year.... about how anyone can be as intelligent as they'd like to be. All they have to do is remember that our intelligence isn't limited to the confines of our own skull. Our intelligence is as big as we choose to make it. All we have to do is plug extension cords into the best minds around us to dramatically boost our own intelligence.

Happy New Millennium everybody! The legend is that whatever you're doing at the turn of midnight is what you'll be doing all year long, hence all the hugging and kissing. I like to pick and choose my superstitions and I like that one. So now I'm off to bring in the New Millennium at the little Alien bar right next to area 51. I expect to party with a very small group.... but I guarantee they'll be interesting and that's the way I want the year and the millennium to be for me, decorated with an assortment of perfectly imperfect and interesting people.
