Years ago I stuck a note to my bathroom mirror that said, "You've always been prettier than you've ever admitted." It helped my "ugly duck" feelings so much that it seems you can divide the photos of me up in two groups, before I put that note up and after. It was as though I had thought if I wasn't super model beautiful, then I must be downright ugly.
Then when I found Robert Burney's award winning site, Joy2MeU on codependence and healing the inner child; I was inspired to make this wallpaper for all of us who have sometimes felt unlovable because we're not perfectly lovable. Good news folks: not one of us is perfectly lovable. More good news: everyone of us is pretty lovable anyways.
I believe that we're to give love to ourself, others and our creator in equal measure. I believe when we fail to love anyone of the three, it diminishes our ability to fully love and appreciate the other two. So be kinder to everyone, spend some time loving you. Think about it. What are your three most lovable qualites? Celebrate and enjoy them today. YOU are a gift from God. Enjoy the gift.
