I'd been working on forgiving timmy mcveigh. It wasn't coming along very well. So I put this wallpaper up to remind me to observe my friend Deanna and her husband Fred closely when it came to matters of forgiveness. Their rule is short. They forgive everybody and they forgive everything. They don't let folks just keep taking advantage of them and at the same time they don't harbor anger, bitterness or resentment.
I've decided that timmy is one of the very largest stop signs in our life. Doesn't the bible say there are some people that can't get the message through the bible and for them there are other ways? I think I'm one of those people. I think life teaches us what is healthy and isn't. I think the message brought by timmy is that not nearly enough of us are giving each other The Power of Kindness which is just a really detailed version of "love one another." I think if more of us don't, more of the time.... we'll see more like timmy, sick with the disease of isolation. God bless him and all those like him with more light, warmth and kindness.
