Most of you have heard of the "Bang Head Here" Stress-Relief / Frustration Relief Kit. It's a target with the words "Bang Head Here!" right in the center of the target. I made this wallpaper years ago but decided to re-launch it. I am very frustrated because I've got important information, life saving, suffering-reducing, happiness-increasing information. I need to get it to everyone quickly. I haven't exactly figured out how yet. But you can be sure I will.
I am determined.

- I'm determined people know suicide prevention built on psychology will never be as effective as suicide prevention built on advertising principles. Advertising is treated like psychology's seedy cousin. But in psychology if they fail, they can blame your parents, your peers, your genes and a hundred other things. In advertising, if they fail, they're fired. Consequently advertising is the cutting edge of behavior change and psychology is it's rusty butter-knife brother. Imagine what will happen when we sell suicidal people on life the way we sell french fries.
- I'm determined in the midst of our National Obesity Epidemic, people will hear the good news: there's a safer, less invasive, less expensive weight loss surgery than gastric bypass (lapband) and there are new video games you play with your whole body instead of your thumbs. I'm determined the dots will be connected between our obesity epidemic and the benefit that physically played addictive video games like eyetoy can be to it.
I cannot in good conscious know such important information and not make sure everyone else knows it as well. They do not have to believe it, or use it, but they've got to hear about it. They have to know where they can find it if they ever need it. Once they've heard about it, my calling is, for the most part, answered.
I've written to Sony, the surgeon general, my congressman, news shows, talk shows.... arrrgh. It appears the only ones who can hear me, can't help. The ones that can help, can't hear. Yes, it is indeed a frustrating situation.
Here is just one example of why this information is so important: Folks, I've been overweight all my life. I know with certainty every girl from 13 to 21 who is seriously overweight is begging, pleading, bartering and guilt tripping their parents about getting them weight loss surgery. All of the guilt trips are sincere and undeniably true. Yes, without some kind of effective help with their weight problems their teenage years will be almost intolerable. Many of the parents will give in. One out of every two hundred of their kids will die. They'll be victims of weight loss surgery roulette. I cannot allow them to take that risk without at least making sure they've heard about eyetoy. They don't have to try it or buy it, I just have to make sure they have heard how it relates to our obesity epidemic.
One last thing. So far, Sony has the best games, only with the 'least addictive' feedback. :( To be the greatest benefit to our Obesity Epidemic, their feedback must be as addictive as Konami's DDR's. We're on the cusp of literally hundreds of new Eyetoy applications being created as you read this. That's why Sony has got to hear this now. I've decided they will.
Frustration is a gift. It's an important alarm clock awakening us to turn off the frustration and get more creative. I am by nature a fairly creative empowerment activist. I will come up with something light that works before the year is out. Until I figure it out, I'll appreciate it enormously if you'll share this page with your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and enemies. Oh yeah, and please say a prayer for my enhanced creativity. Let's do something worthwhile for the fun of it.
