I know, you were expecting something political or patriotic or perhaps fireworks for the 4th of July. Nope, just me reminding you to have a great time and to wear your seat belts. I've been looking for a good place to bring out this Precious Cargo concept, and what better time than the most enjoyable and dangerous National holiday in America.
Years ago, watching a guy carefully strap a dishwasher into the back of his pickup and then get in and drive away without putting his seat belt on; my friend Deanna and I decided on the term Precious Cargo to remind us to wear our seat belts consistently. It worked great for us both. It even worked on her husband Fred. It will for you as well if you like.
