Bozo Criminals!
In a world where evil is glamorized in movies, TV shows, computer games and song.... I'm delighted to find a site that shows it for exactly what it is.... ignorance. Enjoy seeing it naked, without the glamour, without the hot sexy actors or the too cool clothes and background beats. Evil in the raw, come see. I like it so well, I've even added it to our start page. empowerment award page

Jan's Screen Savers (FABULOUS!)
Here's one of my personal internet friends and heros. She's a great photographer, a great screen saver creator, and so altruistic she could inspire the most selfish of us to give our own best work, our own best way. Bookmark this one. She's a fountain of creativity and never ceases to amaze, delight and awe. She was deserving of this long ago, I'm just slow. empowerment award page

How Much JOY Can You Stand?
How much Joy can you stand is the title of a very healing book and a wonderfully healing site. It's all about how to push past your fears and create your dreams. Originally it was just a site about the book, "How Much Joy Can You Stand?" by Suzanne Falter-Barns. But in the past year, it's become a virtual community ... a place where you can bring your tired, sagging, beaten-up dreams and get a shot of inspiration. I'm so glad I ran across this one! Enjoy!

The Eden Alternative - Midwest site
The Eden Alternative is a national reform movement dedicated to transforming nursing homes from sterile institutions where people go to die into vibrant gardens where they can go to live. It's about giving our Elders meaning and purpose in their lives, and control over what they do, rather than having nurses tell them when they have to get up, bathe, eat or go to bed.

" Practical Helps For The Handicapped "
There is one important thing I want to tell you about Martin Krell. He is grateful for the brain God gave him and proves it by using it regularly. Something I wish a lot more of us would do! "How to Treat Your Own PANIC Disorder"
If you're tired of having panic attacks - the instructions for putting an end to them are right here. I used to have panic attacks myself, they're no fun. Kind people sympathized with me, but sympathy isn't worth a tinkers damn compared to instructions for healing. If you have panic attacks forgive me for not sympathizing. I've always preferred solutions to sympathy. I hope you feel the same way.

How to Nominate a Site

Sites that win MUST Empower others to experience more healthy happiness and/or to suffer less emotional pain, they must entertain and last but not least; impress me with content, speed, appearance and navigation. No, I take that back. If they empower others to experience more healthy happiness and/or suffer less emotional pain, they don't have to be beautiful. And if you have a beautiful site and you have to stop and think about how it empowers people to suffer less... if it takes any kind of a stretch at all... don't apply. You won't get the award. To submit a site please click on the envelope below stating your name, e-mail address, URL and a clear explanation of how your site reduces unnecessary emotional suffering or increases healthy happiness.

Thank you for sharing this page with your friends.

"The mind, once stretched by an empowering idea,
can never fully shrink to its original dimensions."
